From the President!
22 YEARS STRONG...AND STILL GROWING!
On Saturday, September 8, 2018, the annual Keystone Kruisers picnic was held at the Collar residence in Cowansville. We had 45 members and friends in attendance. The food was outstanding and plentiful, the conversation light and friendly! Even though we dodged raindrops, a good time was had by all.
I have Great News! Geri ASHBAUGH is home from the hospital! She is still using a cane and has visiting nurses coming in for therapy treatment, but it would appear that she is on the road to recovery. Letters and cards can be sent to her at:
30 Shelocta Road
Shelocta, PA 15774
Also Of Note:
Our next regular meeting shall be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Cabin Green Golf Club, 6 to eat / 7 to meet! This is an important meeting as we shall nominate new members for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Treasurer. Self nominations are more than acceptable, and new people bring new ideas! Please consider yourself for one of these Offices. These are the people that will lead us into the future. Please make an extra special effort to attend and make your voice heard.
The Keystone Kruisers Extra Effort award was not handed put at the picnic due to light attendance and rain. It shall be presented at the October meeting.
There are still a few cruises left this summer. For example, the Cadet cruise, The Saxonburg Mingle on Main, The Autumn Leaf Festival, and King's Restaurant cruise, just to name a few! I know it's raining outside now, but the cruise season is NOT over! Take advantage of what's left of the summer of 2108 and get out there! Remember to check our website for all the details.
